Switch to the SeeSay keyboard in any app and tap the typist character. The SeeSay app opens, starts recording and returns you to the app you were in; tap the typist again when you are done and the result is inserted at the cursor. The "中 / EN" button on the keyboard's top bar switches to Chinese → English translation.
Make sure Full Access is on: Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → SeeSay → Allow Full Access. The keyboard needs it to exchange dictation results with the main app. Then check that the SeeSay app has microphone permission (Settings → SeeSay → Microphone).
Nothing is uploaded. The keyboard itself has no microphone access, makes no network requests and contains no analytics. It reads the text before the cursor for one purpose only: to check whether you hand-edited a result it just inserted, so it can suggest a correction rule. That never leaves your device. See section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
Audio is streamed to Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Singapore) for recognition and Chinese polishing. In Chinese → English mode, only the recognised text is sent to Groq (US), never the audio. We operate no server that stores your audio or text.
Recordings stay on the device by default and are not deleted automatically; an optional "auto-delete audio older than 7 days" setting exists; Settings has a one-tap "delete all audio". Swipe to delete items in History. Deleting the app removes everything, including the keyboard extension and App Group data.
That is an iOS rule: in secure fields such as passwords the system switches back to its own keyboard for every third-party keyboard.
